Lime Essential Oil!
For the month of May, we are highlighting several Synergy Blends and Single oils!
Latin Name – Citrus Aurantifolia
It is steam distilled or cold pressed.
Among one of the oldest known oils, and has historically been used for many conditions.
Some of the benefits and uses of Lime Essential Oil are that it is:
antiseptic, antiviral, astringent, bactericidal anti-allergenic, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, antitussive, and fungicidal.
Some of the more common uses are to help treat:
• hair loss and aging
• muscle weakness
• mental fatigue
• as an astringent for the skin
• to boost the immune system
• promotion of blood coagulation
• fever reducer
• skin and wound infections
• respiratory infections

I personally use Lime quite often. It is revitalizing to my body and spirit! Whenever I need a pick me up, I turn to this essential oil. I love the bright aroma and the instant feeling of being refreshed!

It has been used to flavor ginger ale and cola drinks, and also used in the perfume industry.

If using topically always dilute with a carrier oil.
DO NOT USE:
- around the eye area
- on small children or babies
- if pregnant or nursing
- cold pressed Lime essential oil and then be exposed to the sun for at least 24 hours
