Steam distilled – extracted from the stems and leaves of the plant.
I love Geranium Essential Oil!
This EO has a beautiful herb smell and a touch of a rosy mist, but not too sweet.
It is a middle note oil.
Known to be wonderful for skin care, I often use it in several of my beauty blends! It’s safe, tried and true! Realize the full benefits of this EO by adding it to face cream, face oil, body lotion, shampoo, and conditioner.
Characteristics: anti-spasmodic, adrenal stimulant, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic (stops bleeding), antibacterial, antifungal, anti-infectious, liver detox

Geranium blends well with frankincense, Myrrh, Citrus oils, such as Orange, Lime, Grapefruit, and most spice oils.
Andre Butje says in her book “The Heart of Aromatherapy” that, “Geranium always knows how to make people smile”.
To help with hormonal balance (and mood balance) during Menopause, Geranium can be combined with Clary Sage. [1]
To generate a calming effect in your room diffuse this EO with another calming oil, such as lavender or sweet orange.
